Do you love horses? Do you enjoy being around kids or helping individuals with special needs? Do you like being outdoors and having fun? If so, come get involved with Horse Sense!
Horse Sense offers therapeutic horseback riding to special and unique needs individuals from ages 2 to adult. We typically have lessons September through June and take the summer off to give the horses a break. However, we can use volunteers most any time of the year to assist with mucking stalls, horse grooming and care, cleaning tack, picking up sticks, general cleaning and maintenance at the ranch, etc.
All volunteers are required to complete the Horse Sense volunteer forms www.horsesensejax.org/home.html and to continue to assist with therapeutic riding sessions, will need to also complete the HSS Volunteer Training Course.
If you have specific questions, please contact the lead instructor, Jennifer Yudow at email@example.com or call at 904-349-0963.
Next Volunteer Training Scheduled for:
